Looking for a quick concentration boost or more stamina? This chewing gum with a fresh peppermint flavor provides extra fast caffeine absorption via the oral mucosa - ideal during sport or as an alternative to a cup of coffee.
Caffeine can increase mental alertness and delay fatigue. This is why it has a performance-enhancing effect in practically all sports, from (shorter) sustained peak performances (1 to 60 minutes) to endurance performances and all sports in between, such as interval sports (soccer, tennis, etc.). Our chewing gum contains 75 mg of caffeine, because the positive effect on reaction time and mental alertness can already occur at a dose of approx. 1 mg per kg of body weight. To increase endurance, a higher dose of 3 mg per kg of body weight is required, which corresponds to approx. 200 mg of caffeine or 3 chewing gums.
When caffeine is offered in the form of chewing gum, its stimulating effect occurs more quickly than when caffeine is taken as a capsule or tablet. By chewing, the caffeine is immediately absorbed through the oral mucosa and the performance-enhancing effect can be felt within 15-20 minutes of ingestion. The rapid absorption can offer an extra advantage if the start of the game is unknown and/or if a (very) rapid effect is desired (e.g. in tennis, when a substitute player is used in team sports, etc.).
Take 20 to 60 minutes before sport. Chew for at least 10 to 15 minutes. Do not exceed the daily dose: max. 1 per day. Keep out of reach of children. May have a laxative effect if consumed in excess.
