Verkoelende technologie
Door het gebruik van hydrofiele en hydrofobe garens houdt deze basislaag wat vocht dicht bij het lichaam en laat het lucht vrij door de stof stromen dankzij het speciale open breisel. Je krijgt verdampingskoeling direct op je huid. Castelli raadt het aan op de koelste shirts, zoals de Climber's of Superleggera, hoewel het onder elk ademend shirt werkt.
