De Paris-Roubaix 2025 mouwloze basislaag is ontworpen voor maximaal comfort en prestaties tijdens het sporten. Gemaakt van lichtgewicht, superademend en sneldrogend mesh materiaal, biedt het uitstekende vochtregulatie om je koel en droog te houden tijdens intensieve inspanningen. De verlengde snit aan de achterkant is ontworpen om op zijn plaats te blijven, voor optimale bedekking en om ongemakkelijk wegglijden tijdens het bewegen te voorkomen.
Het ontwerp van de baselayer is een eerbetoon aan wielerlegende Gilbert Duclos-Lassalle, bekend als "Gibus", winnaar van Parijs-Roubaix in 1992 en 1993, die geëerd wordt met de beroemde kasseien sectie tussen Wallers en Hélesmes, een drie-sterren moeilijkheidssector bekend als de "Pont Gibus". Het ontwerp is geïnspireerd op de vorm en kleuren van de Pont Gibus en de nabijgelegen spoorwegovergang.
